  • Caliber Carpet Cleaning is powered by The Butler System™ — the industry’s leading van-powered cleaning system. It delivers hotter water, stronger suction, and a deeper clean than anything you’ll find with rental or portable machines. Our cleaning system uses the vehicle's engine for power to create high-temperature steam and powerful suction to thoroughly clean carpets. Known for its durability and performance, it is considered a leader in the industry for deep cleaning and rapid drying, utilizing a heat exchanger for hot water and a strong vacuum to extract dirt and moisture. That means your carpets dry faster, look brighter, and stay cleaner longer. From everyday dirt to tough pet stains, our Butler-powered clean gets right down to the fibers — leaving your home fresh, healthy, and truly renewed.

The Butler System heats water to very high temperatures and sprays it deep into carpet fibers. This helps loosen stubborn dirt, grease, and stains that normal cleaning can’t touch. The strong vacuum suction pulls the water (and all the grime) back out with incredible force, leaving carpets cleaner and drier in a fraction of the time. Because it’s van-mounted, technicians have everything they need at their fingertips — hoses, brushes, and specialized tools for furniture, rugs, and hard floors. The Butler System™ is considered an industry leader because it delivers consistent, commercial-grade results that regular machines just can’t match. It’s designed for deep restorative cleaning, reaching down to the padding and lifting out contaminants that cause odors, wear, and discoloration.

    For a homeowner, that means:

    • Carpets look newer, brighter, and last longer.

    • Drying time is shorter, so you can get back to living in your space quickly.

    • Even tough problems like pet stains and odors are tackled more effectively.

  • We start with a quick on-site inspection. A technician walks through the areas you want cleaned to understand fibers/surfaces, traffic patterns, problem spots, and pet issues. This helps Caliber recommend the right treatment plan for your home or business.

After the walk-through, we measure the actual cleanable area (rooms, hallways, stairs) so pricing is accurate and fair.

We outline what we’ll do and why—including any spot/odor treatments or protective add-ons—so you can choose what fits your goals and budget.

You’ll receive an easy-to-read estimate before any work is scheduled.

  • Plan on 15–30 minutes per room. Most average homes take 1–2 hours (about 1 hour per 1,000 sq. ft.). Timing varies based on room layout, soil/stains and any pre-treatments, access, and the number of surfaces we’re cleaning. A little prep—like clearing small items and making areas accessible—helps Caliber work more efficiently.

  • Because we price by square foot, you only pay for what we clean.

Ask about our military and first responder discounts!

  • Yes. Freshly cleaned carpets are safe to walk on; we recommend clean socks or shoes. We’re happy to provide free shoe covers on request.

  • To help us work efficiently, please:

    • Move fragile or breakable items to a safe spot.

    • Vacuum to remove pet hair and larger debris.

    • Clear the areas to be cleaned of toys, books, and other items.

    • Tell us about any special concerns (stains, pet urine, etc.).

    • Move light furniture and place dining chairs on tabletops or otherwise out of the way.

  • For the safety of your belongings and our technicians, we don’t move furniture. Please arrange any moving before we arrive. We’ll thoroughly clean up to and around items left in place—areas beneath large furniture typically collect minimal soil.

  • We shorten dry times by pre-treating fibers (so less water is needed), making extra vacuum passes to extract moisture, and using air movers when helpful. Most carpets dry in 4–8 hours, depending on your home’s temperature and humidity.

  • Having someone present helps confirm areas, discuss options, and answer questions. If you won’t be home for the appointment, please arrange access (keys/codes) and provide lock-up instructions and discuss payment with our team.

  • We understand life is busy and unexpected things can change your schedule. If you need to reschedule your cleaning, please call and let us know so we can reschedule for a better time.

We appreciate you giving us as much notice as possible (preferably a few days) if you need to cancel so we can adjust our schedule.

If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, a flat fee or percentage of your booking estimate may be charged, however this can be applied as a credit toward services if you rebook within 7 business days.

  • Caliber Carpet Cleaning works with you to provide services that are conveniently scheduled. Need us overnight? Outside of business hours? No problem!

  • Most new carpets come with a topical protector, but foot traffic and harsh cleaners wear it away—making spills more likely to become stains. After cleaning, we can apply a professional-grade protectant to carpets and upholstery to help repel soil and spills and keep fibers looking fresh longer.

  • Caliber Carpet Cleaning understands that pet accidents happen, causing odor and discoloration in your floor coverings. Most of our pet treatments are provided at an additional cost and the technician will discuss options before beginning treatment.

Our technician will review the condition of the carpet, the severity of the contamination, and what the options are available to treat the spots. They will be able to discuss all the options, costs and solutions with you when they inspect your home and review the existing conditions.

  • Yes—Caliber Carpet Cleaning offers more than carpet care. We also provide carpet, area rug, and upholstery cleaning, as well as tile and grout cleaning.

  • We can clean some types of area rugs in your home, as long as there are no biological issues in the rug (such as urine, blood, feces or vomit) and there is an appropriate surface to clean them on. We can also take your rug to our shop and do a much more thorough and detailed cleaning which takes additional time, but is often well worth it.

    1. Inspect & Estimate – Our technician will complete a walk-through to note concerns, identify fiber types, measure the cleanable area, and present a clear estimate before work begins.

    2. Pre-Vacuum – We’ll start by remove dry soil and pet hair for a more thorough clean.

    3. Pre-Treat & Agitate – Next we apply family- and pet-safe solutions and work them deep with a counter-rotating brush (CRB).

    4. Rinse & Extract – After that, we use our van-powered Butler System hot-water extraction with a neutralizing rinse for a soft, residue-free finish.

    5. Post-Spotting – Then we target any remaining spots or spills.

    6. Speed Drying – When it’s time to dry, we use air movers as needed to accelerate dry time.

    7. Groom & Protector (optional) – Lastly, we apply carpet protector to high-traffic areas, groom the pile, and share dry-time/walk-on guidance.
